Maestro empowered QQ reader for better reading experience
Tencent Literature, a subsidiary of the Chinese Internet giant Tencent, launched its new development strategy in 2014 as to construct an online literature ecosystem connecting all Tencent users, content and platform. QQ Reader, its mobile reading application, becomes an important role for Tencent Literature to fully embrace the mobile Internet.

Tencent Literature launched jingpin reading (精品閱讀) business, introducing eBooks created with PMT’s EePub (enhanced ePub) format to its readers. EePub is an improved eBook format with beautiful page layout and rich multi-media interactive elements, offering the reader a comfortable reading experience similar to paper books. In order to provide the optimal reading experience, Tencent Literature starts optimizing its QQ Reader to meet the specification of EePub. The new version of QQ Reader for iOS was launched App Store around the world on 29 April 2015. With the incorporation of PMT’s Maestro technology, it can perfectly render EePub eBooks, which include powerful annotation and social sharing features.
